Canopy Arm Small End Fitting Repair Instructions

The following guide will instruct you how to repair a broken Small End Fitting #15.

First find a drill that is a similar diameter to a pair of pointy nose pliers, a 6mm bit is used in this guide. Drill two holes into the broken Small End Fitting

Next drill out the rivet holding the broken Small End Fitting in place, a 5mm drill bit will remove the head and body of the rivet. If needed push the rivet deeper below the metal of the arm with a nail and hammer.

Grip the broken end and pull it out using the pointy nose pliers. Insert a new Small End Fitting and fix into position with a new rivet.
