Modifying your older Cafe Series 3m SQ Canopy Attachment

The way that the 3m Square canopy attaches to the frame has changed (since approx. 2018)

PLEASE NOTE: 
As of Mid 2024, our Cafe canopy is secured with canopy screws to each canopy arm, there are no more corner pockets, your corner arms of your Cafe umbrella
frame are now secured with canopy screws, these will be provided with your replacement canopy.

 The old method looks like this:

      The new method looks like this:
     
Figure 2 - To use the new method your umbrella frame must have thread installed in the top of the rib

Even if your canopy is attached using the old method (Fig 1), you might still have the thread 
pre-installed in the rib for the mew method (Fig 2). To check, use a screwdriver to unscrew the
fabric tab from the frame and inspect the end of the rib. If it has the thread installed you can use the new method.
