For a copy of this manual, please print or download the Attachment.
1. This repair involves removing and replacing the Slider Car’s #19 plastic leveling Knob. In order to remove
the Slider Car Knob #20, you will need to remove all components installed in the mast below the Slider Car.
This will allow the Slider Car to be slid down and out the bottom of the mast.
First remove the Main Arm Barrel Coupler #28. The bolts have been applied with medium strength 243
Loctite (a thread locker product) if you have trouble removing them stop and use a hot air gun or a hair dryer
to heat the bolts in order to loosen the Loctite.
2. Remove the Main Arm #14, collect all the pieces and put them aside to be reused upon reassembly.
3. Remove the two bolts inside the Slider Car #19 Bracket, this will release the plastic Bracket along with the
Slider Car Knob #20 from inside the Slider Car #19.
4. Now you will be able to dispose of the broken part and replace it. Align the Slider Car Knob #20 underneath
the holes in the Bracket and secure with the two bolts.
5. Make sure when replacing the Main Arm #14 you have not misplaced the small circular inserts that snap
into the end of the Arm. Slide the Main Arm Barrel Coupler #28 back through the Bracket and Main Arm #14
using a drop of Loctite to prevent the bolt from opening due to vibration from the wind over time.
