Eclipse V2 - Top Bracket Barrel Bolt Replacement

ECLIPSE V2 BARREL BOLT REPLACEMENT AT THE TOP BRACKET #22

Depending on the version of Eclipse the pivot disc will be white or black. Also check if there is a pivoting
cylinder installed in the Top Bracket shown below sitting on the Top Bracket and installed.



Push the Top Stay #18 into the Top Bracket #22 tapping lightly if needed with a soft hammer to align the holes of the
aluminium parts as well as the pivoting discs. Lubricating the parts with silicon spray can make this step easier.


Place the pulley in-line with the other holes with the wire traveling on the outside. Give the wire some slack so it does
not interfere with the pulley. First place a washer on the Top Bracket then slide in the barrel bolt checking that it has
gone through the pulley and out the other side and did not push out the white cylinder insert on the bottom side.
Secure the bottom end first with a washer then with the Barrel Bolt end bolt. Use Loctite or split lock washer on the
bolt to ensure it's tightness.
