Folding your Cantilever Umbrella Canopy for Storage
It is important to close your cantilever umbrella correctly before storage. Folding the canopy the right way prevents the fabric from being pinched between the canopy arms, which can lead to premature wear, small tears, or holes over time.
When a cantilever umbrella is simply wound closed without guiding the fabric, the material can bunch unevenly and become trapped between the ribs causing "pinching". Taking a few extra seconds to fold the canopy neatly will significantly extend the life of your umbrella. Also make sure the canopy is fully dry before extended storage.
Please note: Damage caused by fabric pinching, incorrect folding, or improper storage is considered wear and tear and is not covered under warranty.
